Deliveries to Tanzania
Hymatek has recently signed an agreement with Jacobsen Elektro for deliveries to Kihansi and New Pangani Hydro Power Plants in Tanzania. For Kihansi Hymatek shall deliver two electronic turbine governors. For New Pangani Hymatke shall deliver two static excitation units. The equipment is due for commissioning in early 2015.
Kihansi and New Pangani are owned by state-owned TANESCO (Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited). The delivery is part of a larger project Jacobsen Elektro executes for the company. Hymatek has previously had successful cooperation with Jacobsen in the region. Kihansi has installed capacity of 3 x 60 MW (Pelton). New Pangani has installed capacity of 2 x 24 MW (Francis)
